Hey i remember you mentioning that if this and Ai were pretty close install wise that you would look into combining the 2 together.
was wondering if that's still something your looking into or if just not likely to happen.
AIS R6 makes studios uniform between the two versions. The main game has proven... difficult tho >.<
it's very similar, but overlapping differing assets here and there
@STN i just wanted to say thank you and the moders for making this repack possible...i only have one thing to add, is it possible to create a "Character Folder selection Menu" for group editing in the main game because i have downloaded so many Character Cards and folders & there is no option to assign them to groups unless i transfer them to the main folder.....just food for thought thats all and thanks again for your repacks :)

as for the question: well.. Seems there's some trouble getting the game to make sense of the cards in subfolders, so not really at the moment. Think ManlyMarco is looking into it tho.
hi @screwthisnoise... First of all I really like your repacks but I got a white screen on the starting screen after updating the sideloader files to the newest version. Do I have to re install the game? :'(
YumekoStan, I recommend you drop by the fan discord and take a visit to the hs2-help channel to get a bit more hands on troubleshooting. More often than not that error is caused by corrupt base game files or that you have it too deep in your system tho. the latter posibility you can test by moving the game to C:\Illusion\HoneySelect2, D:\Illusion\HoneySelect2, E:\Illusion\HoneySelect2 or similar beforehand.
Using AIS Mods from AIS folder in HS2
If a user has both AIS and HS2, they may not want to have a 50GB modpack twice. To solve this, one of the games need to have the mods, and the other be told where the mods are at. to do this, edit **\BepInEx\config\com.bepis.bepinex.sideloader.cfg** and tell it in **Additional mods directory = **

@STN - Has illusion shared any updates regarding a potential release date for the VR mod? Sorry to be a broken record but I'm starting to lose interest at this point.
VR is out and it's in the update function from the launcher. There are some problems tho:
### Getting VR to work while waiting for mod updates
VR is having problems running due to lacking support in mods, so mods will need to be updated. In order to run it with mods, here's a temporary workaround:
1. rename "HoneySelect2_Data" to "HoneySelect2_Data.orig" or something similar
2. rename "HoneySelect2VR_Data" to "HoneySelect2_Data"
3. Launch HoneySelect2.exe, or use the launcher to start the main game
4. Rename `HS2_BetterAA.dll` to `HS2_BetterAA.dl_` if it exists, or disable the plugin with KKManager.
This will allow it to work in the best possible state for now
In order to use the main game, you'll need to revert the process.

So tempted but patience is a virtue. Tried the crude version before the update above was posted and it's just not there yet. I'll wait until it's all optimized and working as it should. Excited that progress is currently ongoing though!

The updater for your official 3.0 as well as Fit-Girls STN sanctioned repack both no longer work. It times up and I get an error message saying that the KK manager needs to be updated to get updates. If I can't use the updater to update the game, how do I update the updater lol
@Desublade mods are pre-applied in this repack and include stuff like graphic mods, widesliders and UI extras, and some optional ones cane be found in '[OPTIONAL] Mods' folder which is in the main game folder.
if you're referring to the Sideloader Modpack Studio download, i believe thats just for studio mode

Still no legit proper VR? Illusion sure is taking their sweet time. I don't even see the point of these games without it. I tried loading it in its current form but all I get is a white screen when trying to start after making selections. I get a menu with three options and I can get as far as a screen that lets me choose a girl and a male character, but the graphics are all dark and grainy. Then when I try and start a scene the screen just stays white. Feels bad man.

I don't see HS2_BetterAA.dll. It if it exists where would be be found? How do you disable plugins with the KKManager? All it allows me to do is install it. How do you disable plugins?
@STN - I found it and tried it and VR looks clearer now, but it doesn't start beyond the white screen. I gave it like ten minutes just in case but nope. I'll just wait for the next full release with bug fixes. Keep up the excellent work!

@STN - How long do you anticipate it taking before VR functionality works with or without mods? From all I've seen online from various forms, threads, and discord discussion, VR for HS2 seems to be considered a flop and a failure. I can't even figure out the controls and feel like I've tried everything to find them, but I can't bring up any menus.
This sucks. Not your fault of course.
Is anyone else having issues with corrupt files? Extracting it with WinRAR and keeping it simple in a folder like Drive H --> Honey Select 2 and I end up with corrupt files ranging from maps, chara, gamedata, mods, etc. Its like 751+ errors. Ran a disk check, defrag check... still cant seem to find out why it keeps saying the files are corrupt. Any help would be great!

@STN - Alright, so....I got it working in VR thanks to your guide. For whatever reason the same steps just led to a white screen for the FitGirl repack, but it works with yours. Maybe its a compression issue. Question. The controls aren't terribly ideal. I can't speak for Rift or Vive users, but the steps required for the Odyssey controllers aren't as comfortable as the original Honey Select. Will there be any changes to controls down the line, or will future changes be limited to mod compatibility and bug fixes? Also, hair is weird in VR with strange physics. Is that something that will likely be fixed down the line?
Last but not least, any idea when the next release will be? No rush of course. Just curious. Thank you for doing all that you do.
