This release contains Koikatsu Darkness (Part 1 and 2 out of 3, the last part have yet to be released by Illusion). As normal, this expansion has broken quite a few mods, most of them have been fixed, but if you REALLY need the following mods, you might want to download my R6.1 pack (~.~)v

i wonder what kind the real project of illusion that delaying for over a year now ? hope this will be the last buying time from them........not offense but koikatu no matter how much they try to update or fix it. it still not as good as AA2.........feel waste for this engine some how.

The main draw of this game is Studio, clean and simple, and in that aspect it's better than anything else Illusion has released to this point, but if you're going in for the Main Game content... Let's just say that I only play that when I'm testing my packs before release...

Very personal taste there... As mentionaed above, I mainly play the studio part of the game, but for what it is, the H-scenes are rather good imo.
Hey STN! Do you have any plans to release any future repacks for Honey Select or Playhome? Or have you moved on from them? Your last Playhome pack was pretty great and allowed me to finally see what several mod heavy characters looked like. I could never get them to load properly until I discovered your own Playhome repack.

I started collecting mods for a PlayHome R2 yesterday, and intended to work on that today... But then Koikatsu Party released, and I got my hands full all off a sudden. There will be at least a PlayHome R2 before I shelve that, and I'll probably take periodical updates on that as long as the community remains reasonably active. I am also working on HS as I said in my discord.

The updaters are named for what they apply to. If you have R7, you want the exe file named 'BetterRepack (R7 to R7.1 Update)'
Help! Default-chan, and many other of my characters in the character creator, are headless and with a dong, what do I do!? Also, I can't see to customize my accessories, they appear at some of my characters, but I can't see them at the accessories set. Please, help me!

Sounds like you applied my pack to another pack, probably flashbangz... I've been getting reports that his modifying of the base game and such makes fun things like that happen... Just extract my pack to its own directory, copy your old userdata folder over to mine and you should be good ?

Gotten together a number of mods for the PH update now... Working on getting them to play nice and clean up the names now... Planning on some quality updates to the pack extras as well, so might ask people for help with some screenshot capturing and such for that reason, giving the helpers early access quite soon. I'll post about it in my Discord when I'm done integrating the new mods, so feel free to keep an eye out there if you're interested ☺️
Any plans on working on Koikatsu Party? If you're gonna work on it, will you be merging them into single repack or will you be maintaining separate repacks for each of them?
Also, if you do release a separate repack for Party, will it be possible to overwrite over existing Steam installation?

Well, still poking at the game, but seem quite a few mods and such work... As I'm still poking at and playing with the game, I don't want to commit at this point, but I think I'll create a BR Modpack with restoration of the missing clothing and personalities from the expansions and preorders on the JP version... Also, Party doesn't include Studio at this point, but that's easy to add over from the JP version...
Long story short, I am aware, and I am looking into it ?
Keep in mind, a pack for that **WILL REQUIRE A STEAM PURCHASE** or obtaining the base game from elsewhere.
I also have obtained the translation for Party, and looking into including that in R8 for people that own KKP (a seperate file that only installs if KKP is installed)... But looking into that still as well

You don't really gain anything, as this pack and the newest HF is pretty much on the same level, though minor differences. I'd reccomend you not use my updater after using HF patch though. ?
Is there any reason to get the recently released Party version over say this? I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to this game.
As a side note I do appreciate your repacks. Do you have any for any other games? For example I've heard AA2 is better than this game so I've suddenly become curious about that game but it's quite old and I'm not aware of what the definitive collection of mods for that would be.

Well, no and yes... The JP version is still WAY better with regards to modding, and some mods are unlikely to make it over. HOWEVER, I highly reccomend you buy it still, even if you keep using my pack, for these reasons:
- Supporting Illusions official release may see more content hitting the west faster in the future with proper translation from the get-go.
- The translation for the single player is WAY better than the fantranslation... that being said, it started floating around for the JP version more or less right away after Party released. Still having a moral discussion with myself if I should include the fantranslation or the party translation in my next release...
So the single player patch that you need to get from illusion instead of steam actually includes a translation of all the single player content? It's my understanding that party was the neutered release so it could be put on steam but I had assumed that whatever the patch included to patch back into the game was untranslated?
Any opinion on AA2 in comparison to this title?

Normally you'd have to unlock positions through the main game. There's a mod that unlocks it for the normal game, and that's applied in this pack, but I'm unsure if it works in VR as I'm unable to test VR. Thanks to my patreons, I'm getting closer to being able to afford a headset so that I may be able to check such things.

I am working on a pack for party (the steam version), and it's already ready to go really, but noticed news that Illusion has added new entries to steam for DLC, so evaluating if I should wait for a spell before releasing. That pack will require a purchase of the steam game though.
The patch you're talking about, that's available from illusions side restores the main game to the party game with rather good translations. That will be included in my pack when I release it.
I never really played much AA2, so don't have much comments on that. Primarily not really playing the main game, I find the character editor and studio to be the real stars of the show with this game, and it's a stellar offering.

Oh! The Darkness VR were added in between those versions! Probably broke something with the unlocker... I'll try to check with the creator of that mod if it's possible to get it updated, but it's probably going to be hard as a lot of creators lack VR equipment, and I can't help out myself due to the same reason...
You guys always do something really awesome with all the games that I'd seen from you, Hope you continue growing and doing an excellent job like you always have done, I dare to say Screwthisnoise you are the best...
